Dealing with difficult people

Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.  - 2 Timothy 2:23-26


To respect everyone, believers must be conscious that God has created all people in His image, regardless of whether they believe in Christ. We should show them proper respect and honor because their souls are of more value than all the wealth in the world (Luke 10:33–34;1 Corinthians 10:33).

Where I do not know how to be gentle, teach me Lord to become more gentle.
Lord you know my temper, pray that you teach me temperate...help me to see beyond people's flaw esp those who I have a hard time loving and 重视 their souls.
Help me to love and to be a neighbor, Your will may be done.
